Join us on Tuesday 28th April at 7:30pm for an insightful and inspirational evening with our very own professional triathlete (and emergency nurse!), Emma Jeffcoat.
Emma is a former Surf Life Saver Iron-woman, who made the switch to become an Australian Professional Triathlete in 2015. She was lured in by the challenging multi-discipline swim, bike, run format & both the Worldwide International Triathlon Union & Superleague Triathlon Racing Series. Her long term focus is the realistic opportunity of representing Australia and going for Gold at major Olympic & Commonwealth Games! Alongside her sporting pursuits Emma has completed a Bachelor of Nursing at the University of Sydney under the Elite Athlete Scholarship Program, with a passion in Emergency & Intensive Care specialty work. Emma will be answering questions about her training, life outside triathlon and her upcoming plans. Note that this event is open to Warringah Triathlon Club members only.
