The best weekend on the Triathlon calendar!

Warringah have a title to win back in 2019!

Competing for club pride, all the triathlon clubs in NSW will head to Orange this year to participate or volunteer in a 'club' distance triathlon consisting of a 1km swim, 30km bike ride and 8km run. Every person who races or volunteers earns a point for the club and every point counts!
But that's just the official bit....

The weekend is really a celebration with club mates, a chance to race as a team and enjoy the dance floor battles at the after party on the Saturday night.

1. Register for the event

Follow the link below and enter as a member or volunteer of Warringah Triathlon Club (Administrator Shannon Quartly).
For those racing, you must be a 2018-19 Triathlon Australia and NSW member to enter.
For volunteers, you do not need to be a member, so family and friends can register.
Junior races are also being held on the Saturday morning, so the whole family can get involved!

2. Book accommodation

We have booked some accommodation on behalf of club members this year, so if you are interested, please contact the club treasurer at treasurer@warringahtriathlonclub.com.

If you're struggling to find anything, feel free to post on the Club's private Facebook group to see if other members have any spare beds or to team up to get alternate accommodation.

3. Collect your club champs kit and book into dinner

The club will be providing some kit for everyone, so watch out for upcoming announcements.
We will also be having our annual club champs dinner before the big party begins.
The club will be supplementing most of the cost, with a small charge of $10 per adult and kids under 18 eat for free

A RETROSPECTIVE...

Club Champs stories from Smithy, Committee Member, Past President, Life Member, Club Coach & 19 year Club Champs Veteran (can’t believe I survived the after party’s). For the record I think I’m the only President never to have had the honour of hoisting the Trophy. During my time we were runners up 3 times.

A BIT OF HISTORY

This year will be the 20th running of the event which started with the inaugural CC’s in 1994. (1 year it was cancelled.)

Warringah has won the title more than any other Club in NSW with 10 Championships. This year we are shooting for our 11th victory.
We have a proud record & have never finished worse than 3rd.

I did my first Club Champs in 1996 & have never missed one since.
After doing my first CC’s I just loved the Team atmosphere & the legendary after party. We party just as hard as we race regardless of whether we win.
Our Club Camaraderie & Team Spirit is arguably the envy of the other Club.
