The Club Champs Sub-committee - help needed!

With the 2020 Club Championships heralded as a massive success on all fronts, we're already planning to win again at Forster in May 2021.

To ensure our success, we're putting together a Club Champs Sub-Committee, and we're looking to fill it with volunteers who share our love for the club, and for the Club Champs Weekend itself. If you haven't given back to WTC before, now's your chance!

We're looking for people who can do any of the following:
  • Reaching out to members to encourage them to register;
  • Designing and organising t-shirts and handouts;
  • Putting together information packs about the weekend's events
  • Coordinating music and visuals for the dinner / presentation event
  • Any other ideas you may have for a successful weekend!

The Accommodation

While you are welcome to find your own accommodation for the weekend, we have booked 2 sets of accommodation for Warringah Members:
  • 18 rooms at the Bella Villa Motor Inn (now sold out)
  • 4 rooms at the Forster and Wallis Lake Motel

To book a room:
  • Once you have been advised you have secured a booking, you will need to pay the specified amount.
  • Graham will supply bank details with your confirmation information.

Details of the Forster and Wallis Lake Motel are below:
  • Address: 5 Wallis St, Forster NSW 2428 (link).
  • Check in:  Friday 21st May
  • Check out: Sunday 23rd May
  • Room details:
    • ​2 X Double rooms. Each room comes with a Queen size bed. Cost is $210 (total) for the two nights
      2 X Queen rooms. Each room comes with a Queen size bed. Cost is $240 (total) for the two nights

  • Features: free Wifi, Free foxtel, a kitchenette with cooking equipment (microwave, cooktop, pots, pans, plates, cutlery etc), reverse cycle air and ceiling fans.

Why come to Club Champs?

This is the biggest event on the Warringah calendar, with heaps of benefits, including:
  • A $50 rebate when you register and compete on the day (Club Championships 16+ event only, limited to first 100 entrants);
  • A cheap-as-chips club dinner to celebrate with your clubmates; and
  • Bonus, secret Warringah merchandise!

Club Champs is the only event of the year where we compete as a Club, instead of individuals. Each competitor, no matter where they come in the field, earns points for Warringah, and the club with the most points is crowned that year's Champions! After a win in 2020, we're raring to go back-to-back in 2021, and we need your help to get there.

The Location

Forster is a beautiful location with plenty of sightseeing to do while you're up on the beautiful Barrington Coast.
